This document sets out the Terms and Conditions you need to be aware of when using this website or purchasing our products. Please take a moment to read them, as they set out your important rights and obligations and it is important that we both know where we stand. When you visit this website, or purchase our products, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t accept this agreement, you should not continue to visit this website or purchase from us.
All products and services advertised on this website are offered in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
We offer a range of premium gifts packaged in elegant hampers, delivered to your door. Our hampers last longer than flowers and include food, wine, champagne and giftware for that special occasion, or just because. We invest months of research in personally choosing quality products to delight your recipients. Perfect for corporate gifts, our hampers are 95% Australian made. Even the gift box is locally made in Perth!
We do our best to describe our products as accurately as possible, however mistakes can happen. Where there is a misdescription, we reserve the right to correct any error. Images of our hampers are provided for illustration purposes only. Due to differences in the way that monitors display colour, we cannot guarantee that the images you see will exactly match what you receive, or images may not portray the full design or options relating to that product.
Gift hampers (including and especially gift hampers containing alcohol) may only be purchased and delivered to persons over the age of 18 years. By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge you are over 18 years of age, and you guarantee that the recipient of any gift hamper containing alcohol that you purchase is also over the age of 18. It is a legal requirement that both the person placing the order and the person receiving the delivery are over the age of 18.
CHOCOLATE AND HEAT
During the warmer months we use ice packs to help ensure that the chocolate in your hamper doesn’t melt. We will not ship chocolate if the hamper will spend more than 2 days in transit, as we want the hamper to arrive in premium condition. Customers outside of Perth CBD and Perth Metro areas will be notified and an alternate product may be suggested.
As we do not manufacture our products, we cannot guarantee an item will not contain traces of nuts. All ingredient information is clearly listed on the packages, as per Australian Standards.
We accept payment via Visa or Mastercard using Stripe, and by PayPal and Afterpay. We do not collect or keep your credit card details.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time.
For standard postage the price is included in the hamper cost. For non-standard, such as same day postage requests, there will be additional charges (see ‘Delivery Charges and Times’ below).
To ensure a seamless experience, it is important that you provide us with true and accurate information when registering as a user on our website or placing an order. We reserve the right not to serve you if you do not comply with this condition.
Delivery Charges and Times
Standard shipping by Australia Post is included in the price of all pre-designed gift hampers.
Express shipping is an additional $13.95 per hamper. You must place your order before 11am WST if you are wanting same day delivery. Same day delivery is ONLY available in the Perth CBD and Perth Metro areas.
Standard Perth Metro: $0 – allow 2-3 business days
Express Same Day Perth CBD and Metro: $13.95 – orders must be placed before 11am WST for same day delivery. If your order is received after 11am WST, delivery will be next day.
Regional W.A: $0 – allow 3-6 business days
Interstate: $0 – allow 4-8 business days

We understand how important it is for the hamper you order to be delivered to the recipient in a timely manner and do all in our power to ensure it arrives in perfect condition when you expect it. We will do our best to accommodate requests when specified. However, we can’t always guarantee that Australia post or our couriers will cooperate. Sometimes orders can arrive sooner than expected or are held up in transit due to unforeseen events. That is why we provide you with tracking information on every purchase, so that you know what is going on every step of the way.
Hampers sent via Australia Post will require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign for the gift, a notification card will be left and the gift will be returned to the nearest Australia Post outlet for collection by the recipient. If this happens, it is your responsibility to check the tracking and ensure the recipient is aware of the need to collect their hamper.
If you require same day express delivery by courier, we will make arrangements with you to ensure someone is available to accept the delivery. We will not leave hampers at their destinations without being accepted, unless alternate arrangements have been made and we prefer that all hampers are signed for on delivery. If this is not possible and you direct us to allow your hamper to be left without being signed for, this is entirely at your own risk.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (Saturdays by arrangement), excluding public holidays. Couriers do not pick up parcels during the weekend or on public holidays so even express orders received during this time will be picked up for delivery on the next working day. While we accept orders from customers all over the world, we only deliver within Australia.
Your hamper is coming from Perth, so please factor that in when calculating delivery times. We also advise ordering early during busy times such as Christmas and Mother’s Day, as Australia Post and courier deliveries take longer during these times. Gifts sent to country or rural areas may be carded for pickup from the nearest Australia Post outlet – this may also cause delays in your recipient receiving their gift.
DELIVERY TO HOSPITALS
If you are having a hamper delivered to a recipient in hospital, please ensure they will still be there on the day of delivery. We will need you to provide the ward and room number. If the hamper cannot be delivered, return of the hamper to our depot will incur a redelivery charge of $13.95.
TRACKING AND CUSTOMER DETAILS
You are responsible for ensuring that you provide us with the correct contact name, phone number and email for the recipient. This will be used to assist us with delivery only, and will not be shared or used on any database
Incorrectly addressed items will incur a ‘return to sender’ fee ($13.95) in addition to a re-delivery fee allowing them to be sent to the correct address ($13.95).
When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, address for delivery, your email address and telephone contact. We take due care to store this information safely. However, in providing us with this information, you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission, virus or malware.
For all orders placed through our website, you will receive an email with tracking information once your hamper has been dispatched.
Refund and Returns Policy
CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer a refund for change of mind, or because your recipient did not appreciate the gift, so please choose carefully before making your purchase.
All our hamper items are carefully secured in sturdy packaging, and we take pride in ensuring your gift arrives in pristine condition. If an item arrives damaged, please email email@example.com within 48 hours of the delivery, providing photos of the damage.
If the problem with the item is our fault, or that of our courier, will do everything we can to rectify the problem, such as sending a replacement at our cost, or offering a refund.
If we deem the product to be damaged, faulty or the incorrect item, we will cover the cost of the return courier. If the hamper is returned for any other reason, such as an incorrectly provided address or if there is insufficient evidence suggesting Avenue Hampers are at fault, there will be a $13.95 re-delivery fee.
All refunds for orders will be credited back to the credit card or PayPal account used to purchase the order.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
Cancellation or alteration of your order must be made at least 48 hours prior to dispatch, otherwise the item originally ordered will be sent.
OUT OF STOCK AND REPLACEMENT ITEMS
If we cannot supply a particular item listed for inclusion in a hamper, we will replace the product with an alternate product of equal or greater value.
In our blog, we provide information about how our hampers can be used to help you celebrate special events. This information is provided solely for your entertainment and is not a recommendation that any particular product is right for your situation. Please conduct your own research and make an informed decision before choosing to purchase a hamper from us.
From time to time we may display 3rd party advertising on our website. We have no responsibility for or control over the content of this advertising. Any transaction entered into with a third party advertiser is entirely at your own risk and under their terms of service. We are not a party to that relationship and have no responsibility for the transaction.
The content of this website is protected by copyright. The copyright to all content on this website including applets, graphics, images, layouts and text belongs to us or we have the licence to use the materials.
No portion of this website may be copied or replicated in any form for a commercial purpose without our written consent. This includes our images.
You are welcome to share our pages freely on social media so long as you provide a clear link back to our site.

Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Avenue Hampers is located in Perth. This agreement is subject to the governing law of Western Australia.
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you and Avenue Hampers agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.
